I have an Epson Stylus CX 4800. The CD I have with the drivers only has MAC and Windows drivers. Where can I find something to get this printer working?

Jayce,

you can use gutenprint:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1537

Once you D/L the file you have to Unpack it:

tar xjvf gutenprint-5.0.0.tar.bz2

On some systems, you may have to issue the following command:

bunzip2 -c gutenprint-5.0.0.tar.bz2 | tar xvf -

This will create a subdirectory named gutenprint-5.0.0. You should read the files named README and NEWS in that subdirectory for further instructions.

hope this Helps,

Jake

I just figured I'd dig this thread up instead of starting a new one. My printer is working great, but I'm trying to figure out how to get the scanner to work. Is there anyway to manually configure it to work if it already isn't supported? It'd kinda suck to have this all in 1 printer and dual boot to Winblows JUST to scan stuff...

Epson CX4800 all in one.
