Fedora will be will be taking the place of Red Hat...
I for one, will be changing distros when I have problems with my current RH...

I thought fedora was replacing it as the new supported freeware

"Monday, November 17th - Fedora and Mandrake 9.2:
Finally added links for the final release of Mandrake 9.2. Also created a distro page for The Fedora Project, which will be Red Hat's free distro from now on. More distro updates to come - sorry about the delays, things have been busy. "

Red Hat is going to have Fedora Core as the Free Version of Red Hat, and it will remain open source and all that jazz. It's cool. I love this os.

ive downloaded Redhat 9.1 and Mandrake 9.2 but i havent got around to installing one - i downloaded mandrake after I found out Redhat needs its own file system

Suse is a good choice too, the only problem with it is everything points back to Europe, not a big problem, just something you have to change.
