WindowsXP Pro, SP2, all updates and latest drivers except the sound driver which is not installed.
i have full USB functionality until i install my sound drivers.

the torture test ran for 29hours 35minutes with no errors and it was still going. i decided to stop it.
so why has my pc frozen the first time and been fine the second...
alrite i setup the torture test and went to work.
came back after 4 hours and the computer was frozen. i couldnt see what was on prime95 because the screensaver was on.
the monitor was on standby but moving the mouse still brought it back on although the system was locked up.

prime95 seems to be not helping a hell of alot and a pretty annoying thing to use. i'll get it to run over night anyhow becuase i have no other options atm.

the DFI Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra D & nF4 Sli-D are fairly similar boards, the only thing to me that makes the nF4 Sli-DR stand out is the dual raid which the other 2 dont have.
all things considered i dont really think there is a hell of alot in it unless you were planning on running sli or dual...
i dont have a personal bias to either brand i'd just go for which ever is the better buy to suit your budget.
i've just purchased a 1gb kingston hyper x low cas kit which im eagerly awaiting delivery of.
if you wanted some cheap ram i'd be looking at corsair value select.
