Trouble Installing iTunes *dll*

I'm trying to get iTunes to install on a co workers older XP machine. When we run the installer, we get these two errors:

C:/Program Files\Apple Software Update/ ScriptingObjectModel.dll failed to register. (HRESULT -2147010895)


Apple Software update/ softwareupdateadmin.dll failed to register HRESULT -2148024891

We tried doing a repair install on iTunes Updater but this didn't help. I would just use something like Mediamonkey instead, but they really want iTunes because they're used to it.

Edit: Forgot to mention this will all be done remotely with isl light.

Make sure they have XP Service Pack 2

Use the Microsoft Fix-It utility found here: Fix problems with programs that can't be installed or uninstalled

Use this to either install iTunes or remove it and try again.
