Hey everyone,
So I upgraded to an XFX 7950GX2 graphics card and I have 2 monitors. The problem is since the 7950 is SLI it can only run 1 of the monitors.
I had a cheap 2nd video card to run the 2nd monitor but with the current drivers etc. it doesn't really work, my games crash.
So I was thinking of selling my 2 monitors and buying the 30" dell monitor and using only my 7950 to run it in sli.
Any thoughts? Good/Bad idea?
Also very important, is my vidcard compatible with it? It says it " Requires a dual-link DVI-D graphics card. " Is my card a dual link dvi-d card? Do I need some special cable? They recommend this cable that costs another $108, would I really need that to run this monitor well if my vidcard actually is compatible?
Thanx for ur input. Oh and if anyone knows of any good dell coupons that might help me out pls let me know Cheers!!
