I have onboard sound (eek) so I'm probably going to buy one from newegg, if anyone can give me alink to a good one (thats not over 30-40 $) that'd be cool.
The problem goes like this, AC'97 onboard sound is bad, the microphone is so low (no matter what mic you have) that you have to pretty much keep it up to your lips (even with headset mics). I've never had so many problems with my microphones. I've hooked up three different brands, Labtec, my OLD radioshack one, and my Senneiser pc160 headphones mic (love this headset, i recommend it to any gamer!) and i still have to yell. I've tried countless drivers and posted on many of forums. Decided to buy a pci sound card so if anyone can give me a newegg or amazon.com link that'd be appreciated.
