k, im new to this, but im building my first rig. i have decided on everything(i think, if i am missing somethig please tell me! except for video card,which suggestions for would be great)

your choice of hard drive is very good, that is the exact hard drive I recommend to people. optical is fine. don't get that mobo, get this one:

and lastly, get this cpu instead:

oh yeah, get an evga 7800gt video card and a creative x-fi xtrememusic sound card.

Why would you get a DFI expert if you are not overclocking?

The BIOS has tons of settings. Its not good for a first time builder.

also about the case, i want something that looks cool,not just a plain one, if there is something cheaper that looks cool and is good, id look a tthat

he said that DFI nF4 Mobo is not good for first time builder - since it is ur first time build.( DFI NF4 Lan Only good for oVerclocker)

I was a Asus fans, but recently i heard they are not doing well ,so i recommended MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum as Mobo

from what i've read, the sli thing seems like a future technology, and alot of people disagree with its utility.

i've been recommended to get the non-sli lanparty model, i forgot right now what it is...

my two cents!

no, what i'm saying is dfi lanparty nf4 ultra is what i'd go for
i guess the asus one that was equal to the dfi as best, has probs with amd x2's

but this could be incorrect... i'm gonna get teh dfi

ok,if i were to be ordering things as i ge the money, what would the order be ased on installation order. i plan on ordering case and powersupply in the next day or so, then what after that
