help..

I'm usually very good with computers, but this problem that my own computer has started doing is driving me crazy, and I don't know how to fix it. I've already ran: virus/spyware/adware protection programs. They've detected nothing. Now my problem is, that when I go to download anything, like msn messenger for example, I get an error.

The error is as followed:
Internet Explorer cannot download...Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.

I haven't been able to download nothing lately because of this. I've already done a system recovery and it still says that. Please help me if you are able to,

how many different downloads did you try?

try using www.download.com to download something.

Hi, I've tried about twenty different downloads at various websites. None work, lol.

power everything off, then back on again. mainly the modem and/or router and the pc.

did it work before? what changes were made?

Hi, did what you told me to do, it still isn't allowing me to download anything.
