Things I need/Questions:
A DVD Drive and DVD Burner. I use to always go plextor but honestly I dont burn enough to really think if its worth it.
A DVD/CD Rom at 40x speed is more then enough and the DVD burner does not need to be fast just effecient and have solid software.
Im not sure on the keyboard. Seem solid but I really dont need the Game Panel LCD. I perfer wired keyboard.
3rd thing is my monitor, Im not sure on it. It doesnt have DVI-I not do I know the difference between DVI and DVI-I.

Future Plans:
2nd Monitor
Bring Ram up to 4gb.
Add 2nd Geforce Video card
Add 320 Gb 16 mb cache 3.0gb/s Hard Drive for data storage.

Overall im looking for opinions and feedback. Thanks

Look into the g15 if you want wired.

Dvd Burner: honestly the ones I find work the best are by liteon. 30 bucks a pop for a combo drive.

You really dont need the xms2 ram. G skill makes some of the best overclocking stuff.

That monitor sure seems steep for just a typical 19in. look at a 20.1 in. widescreen. 5ms response is plenty, and a contrast ratio of 800:1 is good.

Other than that I dont see any other big problems.

Are you able to recomend a monitor. Ive been looking for something. However I have heard that widescreen can cause issue with gaming.

Also what would be the reason for going to G Skill over Corsair.

well, I would suggest either an acer or sceptre widescreen monitor.

G. skill over corsair.... well a $60 price difference. lol :)

LG montors are extremly nice.. I saw one with 1:2000 contrast ratio, widescreen (1440x900) and 800cmd brightness for around 230... i bought it and it turned out DOA... so i went back to Bestbuy to get a replacement and they were out so I had to go with the other cheaper one. :(

Also the reason I chose that monitor is it doesnt have light leaks, it also has a solid more reliable response time across the board.

Nice build! That's the same setup I've got... and it gets here monday or tuesday!! Can't wait. But if you're looking for a monitor, check out dell! Their 20 inch widescreen (207 not 2007) is a great deal @ $260+/-. Plus, it's got a 4ms response time, and it looks really clean and nice. No funky labels or odd ergo, you know?
