    I have had Windows 7 installed on my computer for a month with no problems. last night I turned off my computer and turned it on today for use and the hard drive is no longer recognized.     I am running XP Pro 64 bit and I am not sure if this is a big problem or not.     Computer Troubleshooting

    Actually my mother board has two removable chips that can be removed. One chip holds the bios and the second holds a backup (if a backup has been made). If a bios does get corrupted you can get a chip sent from Asus with an flashed bios and replace the old chip.
