Hey guys and gals,
Been outta the loop for a while.... I still have the same old rig and it's serving it's purpose. BUT, i do need a sound card and have never owned one. My budget is $50-$100 but will only spend the $100 if it honestly a better choice for whatever reason....all I really need it...
As well...what is your room temp and case ambient temp? These directly affect what your CPU and GPU temps are....
Also, arctic silver 5 doesn't work instantly....it takes some time (up to 2 months) for it to settle...its best to work it hot and cold, so turn off the computer when you're not...
Hey guys and gals,
I have some avi movies that I created from my compact video camera. I would like to shorten or crop some of them before burning them to disc...Can someone please recommend a good program to do this? It seems so simple but I'm not having any luck...thanks for any replies..
Great guide!!! Nice job.

I doubt its psu related but i wouldn't have a rosewell in any of my systems...
Did you overclock that card? If you havent, go for it...are you sure temps are ok, WHILE playing??...use Rivatuner...
Put it together your self, its fun and easy! read the build posts on this forum, use the search function, check the stickys at the top of the pages...
welcome!

Mboard, hard drive, cpu above ^good.
Go ahead and crossfire...

assuming you have windows XP:
Keep your antivirus, firewall, and any related to your video card...the rest un-check and open the programs as you need them. You wont hurt anything.
Going with a C2D system will require DDR2 ram, which i assume you currently don't have...
Personally I would do this:
1) Budget: Get 1Gb of ram more for 2GBS total. You WILL notice an improvement.
2) Costly $$: go with your option 2, u can always upgrade the video card later when the gtx's...
