Why not, i do it all the time, just none of the computer specific drivers are installed and it asks you to activate Windows...and there is no IDE/SATA cable for this laptop, its an pin adaptor.

Here is my dilemna, my windows clock/BIOS clock resets to 11:00 A.M. January 1, 2001, it only does it when the computer is unplugged. When i restart it, it retains time. I took out the CMOS battery and replaced it with a new one, no luck and also reset the CMOS jumper settings...any ideas ?
