don't get 2 gigs, no video game will benefit from anything over a gig really. Save your money for something else.

those are nice scores for your specs. I would go with 512 more ram. That would be the best upgrade for your money at the moment.

you don't buy a compaq to overclock. the amount you get out of it will not be noticable. it would be better just to upgrade or leave it alone. no point in stressing something that won't show you a difference.

if you have reinstalled windows and have all the latest drivers, then it is a hardware problem. What kind of PSu are you using, that just might be your problem.

Exactly, you can have non-stop action.. there is nothing wrong with that. It's the repitition of this game that killed it. The only hint of a different idea was the underground caves or maybe the split second I ran outside for a few levels. Other than that the whole game was a hallway. *yawn

Agreed, I wasn't too pleased with the shadows either. All this talk of dynamic lighting, but the shadows are static, boo.

It would have been better if it had more puzzles and mazes to find your way through and a few more options of things to do... you couldn't really choose anything.

well, back to the original question. If you are serious about stability and really running a nice box I would go with PC Power & Cooling Turbo-Cool 510 Deluxe. Or if you really need a crap load of power the ZIPPY/EMACS 700W PSL-6701P-SATA. (that beast pushes 45A on the 12v rail :))

I have 4 of them in my computer and they arn't any louder than the standard case fan. The rifle bearings are to help the life of the fan more than the noise. These fans will last longer than a regular case fan. I have the blue ones and they give off a really nice dark blue that most fans can't...
