Scratch that I figured it out... removed ati2dvag.dll from system32 via safe mode, rebooted, logged in normally , screen works (joy..), pasted file back, changed resolution via "advanced settings > List all modes", good to go.

There might be a third party software that ""might" be able to update the md5checksum, as i seen this possibility. E.g. Swat 4 uses an application called "UCC.exe" with a batch script containing: cd .\System\ ..\..\Content\System\UCC.exe mastermd5 -c pause

Compare the voltage levels in the BIOS under "hardware monitor" to see if it matches or is close to what it suppose to be. Also what kind of temperatures are you getting from the BIOS for the CPU ?

I use VNC Enterprise on my server at home, it uses VPN which runs both on LAN and WAN, had to port forward a port in order to access it from my college. i use to use Terminal services on it but it didnt give me live access. BTW it uses 128-bit encryption
