Have you tried to do a repair install? Try that, then see if it works.

I have CPU-Z and I have A single stick of Samsung 512MB DDR-SDRAM PC2100(133Mhz) But, I don't want to continue using this memory, no particular reason, just want to get more reliable RAM.

Use CPU-Z, it will be able to tell you what socket your motherboard is.

Are you trying to change the default name of your CD drive? If so, I don't think it is possible, seeing the CD drive is named after the CD you insert.

It couldn't run video tests? That's odd, because I have S3 Prosavage DDR 32Mb on-board video, and it ran it on mine. Also, nice results, the most I have acheived was 289, with 512Mb RAM, 2.13Ghz processor, 80Gb WD HDD, 32Mb video, and Lite-On Combo drive.

Well, that should work with manually editing the boot.ini file, once I get the Windows Disk, I'll try it out and let you know if it works or not.

Before doing that, press ctrl+alt+delete and go to New Task (Run) type in Explorer.exe and see if you can get the task bar and desktop to show, if not, try the other suggestions.
