    Take a look please

It's been a while and I'd like to make sure the PC isn't running anything I don't want it to. If anyone could take a look and let me know I'd appreciate it. $2000 budget

Then drop 700 dollars on a new quad-core procerssor when they come out.

New build with budget of $1600

Why not get rid of the sound card and get a better video card? Even if you're not a gamer, you could use the money toward something else if not a better video card. The onboard sound should be sufficent.

Where does everyone BUY/SELL PC's to upgrade online???

I really don't know what to think about this post. Sell em here or over at Hard Forums or Anandtech.

lol, that's the same build you suggested in the other thread. It works tho.

    Holiday Build - $2000 Budget

700-watts is pretty future-proof. At least for a good three to four years. You would be able to run dual core with SLI if you decide to later on.

    MAJOR mobo vs cpu dilllema!!!

Get the Ultra-D with the X2. Ultra-D's are like 110 bucks over at Newegg I think, just picked one up a few days ago. Great motherboards, just don't use Antec Smartpower psus with them...

    Holiday Build - $2000 Budget

My three 120GB drives are almost full... :( Sounds like you know what you're doing then with the CPU/Fan. Looks like a nice built, you should be very happy with it.

    Holiday Build - $2000 Budget

If it were me I would get a cheaper keyboard and ditch the Zalman. The CPU already comes with one, and unless you're going to be overclocking I'm pretty sure the stock one would do. Take that ~80 dollars saved and pick up a larger hard drive or upgrade the processor.

    1000$ gaming pc

Pretty decent case, but I'm partial to the P180. And have you thought about going AMD? You might be able to build a cheaper comp. Just a thought.

    Which monitor would you get.

eh, not sure what it's called but it's the bad one. TN I believe? It's not the same as the other moniters have.
