I don't have any system restore benchmark things, except for yesterday AFTER the problem happened. It is a windows defender restore point, so I deleted windows defender and nothing happened.

yes, a line 1 and line 2. I just need to know where in my computer,( I searched through controll pannel and found nothing) that I can find the place to change it from the audio coming out line 1 to coming out line 2.
p.s. I am running XP
I am having souncard problems and I don't want to go into it, but I know for a fact there is a bad connection in my line 1 of my soundcard. Where do I go to configure these settings and make audio come out line 2.
