He is correct. Too much paste will just absorb the heat into the excess paste, and not read correctly.

Here is basicly what happened after i tried to unlock my pipelines with Riva Tuner. I tried once with pipes and V shaders and then once with just pipes. Turning off the extra pipelines and leaving the V shader works fine though... Ugh.. Black lines everywhere. I am using the newest updated...

How do i do this? I recently got an evga Geforce 6800, and was wondering how i would go about doing this. If anyone could please provide some advice, or direct me to a program that i need to get to do this, it would be much appreciated.

Ok, so clearly im better off with the geforce 6800. One thing that i would like to know, is where you are viewing the stats about the ammount of pipelines there are. I dont see it! SO sacrificing half the ram for a pipeline upgrade from 8 -> 12 is thumbs up?

I need an AGP. my abit KV8 pro mobo cant do PCI-exptess.

I currently have a Nvidea 5700 vid card, but when i play World of Warcraft and am in a big 40-man raid, my frames per second goes down to about ~8. I hate it. This is with the video as low as it can go. Any suggestions on a nice video card that i could get that wont run me over 250 USD...
