I have :Googled my brains out" and cannot find a solution to turning on system restore. When I open System Properties it says: "System Restore is dsabled by your system administrator". How do I enable this given that I am the system administrator. The Icon for administrator is enabled as a...
Thanks. After reading the 32 vs 64 bit sticky here then I'm going to go ahead and intall the 64 bit version on the new 2 TB WD HD. BTW, it was an OEM version for a Dell (obviously, someone elses Dell!!)
I bought, what I thought was a legit copy of Windows 7 Ultimate 32/64 bit. everything appeared to be good until last night when I got the dreaded "not genuine copy of Windows 7". Yes, I got screwed....I just bought a legitimate copy from a retailer and I am wondering a couple of things: 1) Do...
Thanks...the older driver set worked like a charm....so what's with fubared newer drivers?...doesn't say much good about Nvidia! My next board will be an Intel chipset....sheesh!
I have tried two model of Sata DVD's on my MSI 750i and get BSOD with nvgts.sys as the hardware conflict. Nvidia's lateest drivers are no help. New Mobo? Is this fixable on this older mobo?

Being the pennie pincher that I am, can someone give me a basic setup to run Blue Ray out from a destop PC to my LCD HDTV? Or should I just pop for a componenmt?
Someone actually threw this laptop away because it hung up loading XP Pro. I took it home, added a gig of memory and attempted the XP SP2 install. Low and behold, it hangs up with a cyclic redundancy error so I switched to a new install CD and the same thing. I have a copy of Vista Home...
