This is a brand new PSU, was just installed this past week as I thought that is what initially screwed up my old video card. It is a pcpowercooling turbo 425 watts. This is a dell computer and their bios doesn't give out that kind of information... unless I'm missing something Just booted...

Using whatever the new drivers were on the Nvidia website. I believe they are dated for sometime in October. But if it is a driver issue, how can I get my screen to show my windows and stuff, so I can possibly fix it.

Well, went to the local circuit city and they were running a special on the Geforce 6600gt for the same price as newegg after a couple of mail in rebates, so I went ahead and got it. Thanks everyone for the help.

No this is only my computer so nothing should be screwed up on it. As far as completely uninstalling the driver, what steps should I take to ensure that it is completely uninstalled?

No we do have several spare computers. After I redo the drivers I'm going to take the old graphics card out of the other computer and see what happens. Hopefully this is it. But, would a bad/failing graphics card cause all these problems?

Sorry for the huge block of text. After I put the new PSU in I really can't tell a big difference in the noise level of the fans, but that doesn't mean anything because I can't do much of anything in Safe mode of windows that would cause the fans to get louder. The power supply fan is louder...
