so i recently recovered a computer that had a severe virus on it. actually i reformatted the hard drive. so a fresh copy of XP is on the machine. but every once in a while both my internet browsers and games crash. sometimes as soon as i open them up again they'll immediately crash when i go...
after placing a motherboard into a different case all of my harddrives arent being recognized...i have jumpered them every which way...all cd drives are recognized...but the HD's dont show up in BIOS...

i have found out that it isnt the power supply thats messed up...the symptons are fans constantly on high instead of quieting down...and my monitor is getting no signal.

after a thunder storm my computer hasnt been working properly. it turns on except the monitor doesnt diplay anything or recognize its connected to the computer. also the fans dont quite down...they used to turn on high for the first couple of seconds of boot up...now they are constantly going...
When I run CPU-Z it shows that my ram is running at 200 MHz...
i have two sticks of PC3200...shouldnt it be clocked at 400 MHz...
