Vista Issue - Nero caused Blue Screen... Vista won't load now.

Do you mean going through the repair console through the CD? I haven't messed with the repair console before so I'm a little iffy on how to do that.... Are you speaking of the commands such as fixMbr etc etc....?

Vista Issue - Nero caused Blue Screen... Vista won't load now.

Alright, I've been researching this and I have not been able to come to any answers.... I was updating Nero to the latest version in Vista when it suddenly blue-screened... Dumped the memory to hard disk then rebooted... Now everytime Vista goes to load, a blue screen will flash up and then it...

    Academic Versions of Microsoft Software

Alright I have a question that I feel could be best answered here... I was given the full retail "ACADEMIC" versions of Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2005, Microsoft Visio Standard 2003, and Microsoft Project Professional 2003 from the school due to a scholarship. Since our program...

    New Psu

I would go with the Hiper 580 Watt PSU myself... I did a lot of research on it before I purchased it and it has been the best PSU I've ever owned... It has a good price of under 100 bucks USD and being 580 it should last you for a good while for future upgrades....

    Looking for a new Monitor.

Like one poster said I would go with that Samsung 931C if I was buying one.... You can get it from NewEgg for 259 + 14 ship... with a 20 dollar mail-in rebate and you get that Logitech G15 keyboard... You could always sell the Logitech G15 keyboard and after that, it would seem like that Samsung...

    Question on hard drive quality?

I'd have to agree with these guys... The last two SATA hard drives I have purchased were the 7200.9 and 7200.10 series from Seagate... Both drives have performed flawlessly and honestly I never noticed a bit of noise from them(however I have 2 120 MM case fans) .....

    what's faster 1-7200rpm drive or 2-4200rpm RAIO-0 drives?

I'd take the slight performance hit and go with the extra hard drive capacity.... You probably won't notice that little performance drop.

    Need help Choosing a PC

There probably will not be a noticable difference in either one, but I would personally go with the slightly faster processor if I had to choose one.

    Cases

Well, I'm not sure how you feel about CoolerMaster(I've had good success with their cases) ..... The first one is the one I own.... I've had it for a year and love it... Very easy to work on and looks good, but not overdone.... Only thing I dont care about is the graphics on the side #1)...

What you think of this got gamer PC

I think in the future a physics type card will really come in handy, but I don't think the PhysX cards are worth it right now at all.

    5.1 Speakers. Help me decide.

Yea... When I decided to upgrade my speakers, I actually decided to go with a really nice 2.1 sound system over a 5.1 system in the same price range.... I went with these and man do they ever sound nice..... I've had them for about a year now and am very pleased...

    Graphics card for my PC.

What kind of Dell 5150? I found an Inspiron 5150.... Is that it? Posting some specs will help out a lot more as far as answering your question goes :D

    SATA DVD Drive Question

Since SATA hard drives can be hot swappable, would SATA DVD Drives be the same way if for some reason you had to change it out while the computer was on.... This would actually be a much better reason to have a SATA drive than just "reducting a little cable space".
