Ok here's what I think you're talking about. Go to run and type msconfig. Then when the box comes up go to the boot.ini tab and change the timeout from 30 seconds to a value lower than that. I know I read that somewhere but I did not do it because I'm on my new laptop.

I don't think that works in XP Home but you can try this. Go to Start>Run and type "control userpasswords2" and see if that works. It should give you options to edit users on your computer.
