I know I have legit ram already. I am looking to stay dual channel and not fill all four slots. To do this, I have to get new ram 2gb (1gb x 2). I have searched newegg alot, but I didn't know if anyone knew of anyone 1gb sticks that overclocked really well. DDR600 1gb sticks are non-existent...
I have the following setup, and I want to upgrade to 2gb (1gb x 2) instead of 1gb (512mb x 2).
AMD Opteron 165 @ 2.6ghz (290x9)
eVGA nVIDIA 7800GT
g.Skill TCCD 1gb (512mb x 2) DDR600
DFI Lanparty UT nF4 SLI-DR Expert
I have the "outdated" DDR ram which in my opinion there is nothing wrong...
Well right now I have 93.71 and my Aquamark score is about 30k less than what it used to be for some reason. It used to be 100k+ now it is 70-80k. What is everybody using for their drivers for nVidia cards?
Edit: Sig below is false.
I have:
AMD Opteron 165 @ 2.6ghz
g.Skill DDR600 TCCD 1gb...
Yea but no other car has the exact same overclock. Of course any other card could be overclocked as far but he wants the exact same card. He will trade me something if I can find and buy him another one of the same cards (which would be a **** of a deal for me).
Know anyplace that sells them...
I need to find a used XFX XXX OC 6800GS for my friend.... He wants to run SLI. They are discontinued but he really wants one... Thanks to anyone who can help!
Okay, I haven't been following the computer scene for a while. I have been working on my car alot lol.
Anyways, I get bored and I look at hothardware.com to get back into the loop. WTF Intel is now back into the lead?
Are the Conroe core CPU's better than the dual core 64bit AMD cpu's? What do...
I orginally read this on an engine forum, but I ended up here after posting in several of the forums I frequent. I really believe in what this guy is doing. Please help him spread the word. I have emailed him the link to this thread as well as the other threads I have made.
Here is the thread I...
I don't see how the bios would do this. I didn't change anything when it started crashing! I am running at 289x9 or just about 2.6ghz at 23* C idle.
The comp ran fine for over 3 months, then just started crashing....
Not yet. What do you mean, I should just set the timings to auto or set everything to the optimized defaults?
I think the 2 slots (one yellow, one orange) closest to the cpu are fried. Neither stick of ram works in them, but both work in either of the other 2 slots.
