the world economy as a whole is over inflated and doing really crappy...but personally im not doing tooo bad right now, ill let you know in a couple weeks/months as I try to get a job since im graduation in June...luckily though there should always be a need for electrical engineers....

I have that vidcard and it runs cool under load, and it just looks awesome too... overall great card!

not sure how feasible this is or cost effective...but I know you can convert an HDMI signal to ethernet. Now if you get another ethernet card(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833106121) and you could find the software to process this signal you could essentially stream...

i personally feel that a Mac costs too much money for what you got. I picked up my lappy recently (< a month ago) for ~$800. This had a nice 2.2GHz Core 2 duo, 4GB ram, 320GB hd, webcam (not that i use it), 14.1" screen (1280x800), Vista Home Premium 64bit edition...it even has HD3200...

really my CPU temps are good and I used AS5, i get ~30C and up to maybe 40C under heavy load (Benchmarks), I mean im only OCed 200MHz...but i didnt think that was bad... for future builds ill keep that in mind...
