I don't really notice a difference between analog and digital signals for monitors. I'd borrow a cable from a buddy or something to test if you see a difference (or buy and then return).

That's the same case/psu combo I had in my original post. The reason I changed it is because that PSU only has a 4pin CPU connector. I'll consider upgrading to the faster drive though. Edit: I switched to the faster drive... its 5$ wth.
