    Random reboots without BSOD

I'm starting to operate under the suspicion that this might have all been caused by the space heater in my office... it's in the basement, which gets pretty chilly during the winter. I think these crashes coincided with when I started using it. As of now, I haven't had a crash since I've...

    Random reboots without BSOD

Silverstone ST1500 1500W I just reread the manual for the first time in years... my memory is a bit off. What it said was to not plug it into an extension cord, so I somehow extrapolated that into, "It has to go directly into the wall socket." I should probably look at a UPS... any idea what...

    Random reboots without BSOD

So I was still getting a lot of random reboots during normal operation, and once while the system was starting up the BIOS. I cleaned all the dust out of the case, and checked to make sure all of the power connections were tight. I found one connection where an extension cord had a loose pin...

    Random reboots without BSOD

And of course, five minutes after I post this, it reboots again. I'm going to roll back to the previous driver and see if that fixes it.

    Random reboots without BSOD

I ran the memory test overnight, and no errors. I spent a day on the computer without using Corel Painter, and there were no crashes, so my gut feeling was that it had something to do with this, but I wondered why it hadn't occurred until recently. I then remembered that my graphics pad had...

    Random reboots without BSOD

Won't a clean install need a product key? I don't think the one I have from Windows 8 would work, would it?

    Random reboots without BSOD

I don't have Windows 10 media, as I did the upgrade online... is there a way to do a clean install without it?

    Random reboots without BSOD

Looks interesting... I'll try that if nothing else works.

    Random reboots without BSOD

I checked for new drivers on the Asus website, and there weren't any. I also ran the Intel Driver Update Utility, and it didn't come up with any that needed replacing. I will check the component manufacturer's websites and see if anything comes up. If not, should I reinstall all of them?

    Random reboots without BSOD

I'm not really sure, to be honest. I say this because I definitely know that it has rebooted a few times while using Corel Painter, because that resulted in me screaming, but it also rebooted once right after getting out of sleep mode. I think it may have crashed when doing nothing but browsing...

    Random reboots without BSOD

I've been getting some random reboots over the last few days. Unfortunately, I'm not getting a BSOD to help me figure out what is going on. I recently changed to Windows 10, and just assumed that I hadn't unchecked the option for an automatic reboot upon crashing, but I went in, and the settings...

How can I tell if a power supply is causing shutdowns?

No, the only thing I have plugged into a 3.0 is a memory stick.

How can I tell if a power supply is causing shutdowns?

Under the chipset downloads on the motherboard's website, it has Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility V9.3.2.1015 and Intel Management Engine Interface V9.5.15.1730. Should I install both? I do have a Razer mouse, and it has been giving me some funky issues... when I put my computer...

How can I tell if a power supply is causing shutdowns?

I will check the power saving features once I'm finished on this print run. While that finishes, are there any particular things I should do about those two errors? To the best of my knowledge, all of the drivers are up to date, but I'll double check.

How can I tell if a power supply is causing shutdowns?

I got a BSOD today with a Driver_Power_State_Failure, for which I've attached the dump file. I'm not sure if this is related to the PC completely shutting down or not... there are no dump files for when that happened.
