What would a good laptop be in the 1k-1.5k range? I need one for college and I'd like it to play WoW, Company of Heroes, and Battlefield 2142 very smoothly.

Whenever I play counterstike (old game, doens't demand performance,) my computer freezes and when i turn up my speakers, there is a buzzing or ringing noise. This doesn't always happen when I'm playing a game but sometimes when my computer is on a long time and I'm using alot of programs...

Dad told me my freezing problem could be my chipset overheating. So I got one of these: As well as another fan and now I have 2 in, one out. Problem is, I don't know how to get the original heatsink off... Its got two clear pin looking things that have springs around them... Kind of hard...

I'm definitely sticking to 939, any other comments/thoughts?
