Thanks. It was a suicide run anyway... Just got this 1M run and CPU-Z validation and outta there... Took me while to make x55 work, though. Also that was with stock 1600 ram. I might try it again with 1866.

Thanks. Not much difference from 4.6GHz, though. About 80~100 gain. My GPU has just a stock fan but I'm putting 127CFM 120mm Panaflo blowing on to the back side of GPU. So all the hot air goes out to the back. (Since this isn't a reference design, the fan is at the middle) Also made GPU fan...

I do. Professionally. So I use Mac and ProTools. Someone from the other forum asking kind of the same thing so you may want to look at my post here. I do not see the most important gear for home recording... the audio interface. Do you already have one?
